Aura of Audiography
is a collective students' project which captures the soundscape of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University by utilizing the field recording method.
The project was carried out by the students of the Audiocultures Methodologies: Theory and Practice class (Fall semester, 2017), under the guidance of
Filip Johánek.
The aim was to capture the medium of sound of the faculty and the atmosphere itself. I (as one of the students) contributed with my own set of field recordings using a portable recorder Sony PCM D-100.
Later on I joined Filip Johánek among with Ladislav Mirvald and Ján Solčáni as a photographer during the live sound and recording installation which took place in the Faculty of Arts underground garage in March 2018.
The Aura of Audiography project was exhibited at the
Ars Electronica International Festival in Linz,
Austria in 2019.
